MESSAGE FROM PROFESSOR DICKSON REGARDS HIS PATIENTS
Professor Dickson would like to add how rewarding it is to operate on patients with bendy backs and to share in their thrill at having either a straight back or one that does not progress to a point where they are bent double and the deformities are a threat to life. In this respect these three brilliant young ladies have exemplified all that is good about scoliosis surgery and, in addition, how important it is to help the families in going through this difficult time for them. As a result I have seen seriously deformed girls grow into fantastic young ladies and it is a privilege to read their stories and know that one has been but a part in this process.
